Ebbie had a litter of beautiful boys!  All arrived safe & sound and are doing very well.
These pups have the bloodlines to be everything their ancestors are, good working dogs!

We will have one blue boy (with the most white) & a black puppy available to the right homes.

25 November 2007...I changed the pups bedding, did nails...the two big boys was playing on the floor and the other three stayed in the little bed.

They looked so cute I had to snap a couple of pictures. Almost makes you want to curl up and take a nap with them. :-)

Here are some pics on just the black boys. Loch is still a bit smaller than Ebe but, he is catching up quickly. I am starting to wonder if he won't surpass him. I think his feet have really grown in the last couple of days. He really didn't want his toe nails trimmed and proceeded to growl and make a fuss at me when I was doing it. Which got Ebbie upset 'cus her favorite was mad. :-) Quite the little temper....Lil' Blue bit me...or should I say gummed me when I was working on him. I just laughed at him but in a couple weeks that won't be funny with the sharp little razor puppy teeth.

  
From a few days earlier...here are four of the pups...the big black boy "Ebonholz", he is laying in the middle by himself. Independent boy I suppose.

Puppy #1 temporarily called Loch. He isn't one of the "big boys" but he is getting up there and is in the running. It is interesting to see what personality comes out at even this age. He "gives in" easy than some of the other boys when it comes to being put on his back and have "weird" sensations rubbed on his feet. (q-tips, tennis balls) Not to much seems to bother him at this age.

Puppy #2 ~ Blue Merle

This one I am calling TK today....Toby Keith-big man, big dog. :-) There is something about this boy that I really like...he reminds me of his sire Doc. Not sure what it is.
He handles all the puppy stressor's like a champ. Nothing seems to bother him to much. I like that. He is a handsome boy too.

TK is staying here at C-Me!

I am calling him Diamond for now...because of the little diamond on his for head. He is nice big boy also. 2nd biggest. Just a few oz less than TK. He is going to be a biggin' also. :-) He is also one of my fav's. I go back and forth between him and TK. Kinda depends on my mood as who I like best.

Ok, not a real original name but it fits. He is the lightest but catching up quickly to #1. He is also the fastest pup of the bunch. He makes up his mind to go some where and he is off like a rocket. Amazes me how fast he can scootch. The pups are starting to stand on all 4 feet and a couple of them sit now. I am getting excited about their eyes opening and getting to the point where I can play with them instead of holding them and doing the basic puppy stressors. Though that does take up a good couple hours in the evening. Nice thing about winter and the colder months, I don't mind being in the house sitting on the floor. :-)

Here is the last boy. I call him Ebenholz, which is German for Ebony. He reminds me the most of Ebbie in looks. I see him being much more hard headed. He is the only puppy that still fights when you put him on his back. Even when he quits squirming he will growl and howl. He is going to be a handful. Not nearly as "mellow" as the other black boy. I do believe that there is a lot of dog in that little black body. He also is the puppy that doesn't sleep with the others. He is very content to sleep all by himself. If one of the other pups come up and lay with him fine...but he does not seek them out like they seek out other littermates. It is interesting to watch the way the react to each other even now.
