C-Me Benson
Benson is a really nice dog. He was my "pick" from that litter! He is
about 20 inches and 45# all muscle.
Benson has a good sense of group, keeps an eye on
everything!

Red started hard labor around 12:30 AM. The first pup, a blue merle, was born at 2:20 AM. I got Amanda up about ten after so she could be there. She really wanted to watch. Around 4:15 I took Red outside for a potty break and a jog...up and down the driveway....we get back in and about 4:30 I tell her if she doesn't have a pup by 5 I am calling the vet. 4:40 pup number 2-the black-bi arrived. Thinking that I have a few minutes again, I lay on the floor thinking to "rest my eyes." I woke up to crying puppies at 5:30, I look in the box and she is cleaning a pup-another blue merle. So I think hmm 2 blues...Red moves and there is a 4th pup next to the black boy. Another blue merle! About 6 am, pup number 5 arrives. A very dark red bi. Nice little pup.
All in all, it didn't take very long....but the most surprising event of the evening was realizing that they were all BOYS!
