She may "look" like Mona on the outside but inside she is all Cash...you can tell with the eyes...and that nose! Love the little girlie!
Ruby is a beautiful young dog, good looks, great temperament and wonderful working ability all combined with a beautiful gait...she is close to perfect!
I sure love this dog. She has such a great personality. When it comes to the pups she has the patience of a saint. Mom thinks she would make a good mom because she just lets the boys (Ebbie x Doc pups born Nov 8/07) woller and chew on her. TK adores her. They play all the time. She lays on the floor so she is his size. If they get to fighting and making a lot of ruckus she will go separate them.
When the BC pups went after them and
Diamond squealed. Ruby corrected the Hannah. It wasn't overly rough.
Just slammed her down on the floor with one of her big ole paws and
growled at her.
Hannah was very sweet after that. I hope that all my dogs in the future
are as great as she is.
Here are some more photos of Ruby. She is SOOOO nice. The more I am around her the more I adore her. She is everything a person could want in a dog.

Ruby
has gone from the calm cool collected dog that she once was to "WOW!! I
can bite them!" She is a little fast at times but we started working on
our drive with them.
Not worried about the fetch. She is like her mom in
that aspect. She can put ANYTHING in your back pocket...even if you don't
want it there. She is a cool little dog.

Earlier...We recently worked more on our standing
stop, which she does 98% of the time (first time) on a "there". Slides to
a stop. :-)
Plus we worked on a "look back", and a walk up which she also
picked up quickly.
I told Mom the last couple weeks that Ruby has a nice
standing stop but I have always been the only one around when I have
worked her so there was no proof.
Not so, I found I have a great Mom and
pictures!
We are learning our flank commands. When I give it, before I
change my body position to help, you can see Ruby thinking about what way
to go.
She is so smart! Mona and Cash did good (as did Dude and Sota!)
I planned on putting Ruby on cattle after she turns a year old,
but as you can see above, we got after them a little early!
She did
excellent and I
am seriously considering entering her at Nationals next year in started.
She can do STD sheep and ducks now....even with light lambs and I figure
we will get nine good months of cattle--
once week this winter and at least 4
times a week this spring/summer so we should be good.
